The story

The Spirit of Rebellion

Somos Pecadores is mezcal as it was before the category was tamed for export. It does not apologise for its smoke, its minerality, or its weight. It is made for drinkers and bartenders who want the real thing.

Produced at a family-run palenque in San Luis del Río, in the municipality of Tlacolula de Matamoros — one of the heartlands of Oaxacan mezcal — from agave matured over years in the field. Every expression is traceable to maestro, plant, and village. The range spans Espadín and Tobalá: a single house voice across two very different maguey.

Smell
Warm tar and smoke over herbaceous sage and thyme, with mineral, metallic depth.
Taste
Intense and generous, with bright acidity carrying saline minerality, sage and thyme, and cracked black-pepper spice through a long, smoky finish. A muscular Espadín.
